Since his childhood, the Guest Curator, Raheel Patel, has been fascinated by toys and games. While many people gradually overcome this fascination, for him it has been a lifelong passion. This passion has driven him to create this exhibit to showcase the Indian origins of three popular board games: Chess, Ludo, and Snakes & Ladders.
As a museum professional and a visual artist, Patel has created a ceramic collection which gives visitors the opportunity to participate in the exhibit and experience the traditional games first-hand.
